AutoCAD Bootcamp Training Course Synopsis

The objective of this bootcamp is design to enable students to master AutoCAD. It is comprised of our Basic and Intermediate courses (AutoCAD 101 - Beginner and AutoCAD 201 - Professional layout techniques)

Prerequisites for this AutoCAD Bootcamp Training Course

  • A working knowledge of basic design/drafting procedures and terminology
  • A working knowledge of your operating system

What You Will Learn in AutoCAD Bootcamp Training Course

  • Understanding the AutoCAD workspace and user interface
  • Using basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools
  • Organizing drawing objects on layers
  • Inserting reusable symbols (blocks)
  • Preparing a layout to be plotted
  • Adding text, hatching, and dimensions
  • Using more advanced editing and construction techniques
  • Adding parametric constraints to objects
  • Creating local and global blocks
  • Setting up layers, styles, and templates
  • Using advanced plotting and publishing options

AutoCAD Bootcamp Training Course Length and Time

This class is 5 days long. Class time is 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Breaks are scheduled throughout the day and lunch is typically scheduled 12-1. Students provide their own lunch.

We have training centers in Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, San Diego and Washington DC. We offer private onsite training and instructor-led, live online training. If coming to a rental facility, please double-check the location of your class with our office to make sure you get to the right location.
